“no one is buying advertising”

The New York Times Co. fell into a financial abyss during the first quarter as the newspaper’s advertising revenue dropped like a rock, down 27 percent in an industrywide slump that is destroying print and traditional media. It lost $74.5 million, in 90 days.

“No one is buying Advertising, buys from Ad Agencies have been down in a big way.. either they don’t want quality NYT ads, or their clients are not ordering from them” is what we were told from an source that wanted to remain anonymous.

Ugly…
