That is just classic — George Parker rips Ogilvy a new one…
For a start, I have no idea just what the fuck Carla does these days. Does anyone? And Bill, who’s been there since the red carpets were really red, is part of the fucking woodwork. He’ll probably be the one to turn out the lights. Do you think these wankers actually believe they are on a par with “The Great Aga Cooker Salesman?” Talk about delusions of grandeur!

We have to admit, we were rolling on the floor after seeing his thoughts on the Ogilvy Memo

Then Parker Had this to say “Notice how David signs like royalty.”
Classic!
To make matters worse, Ogilvy won’t even do any of the PR associated with it, as they refuse calls regarding Sears and forwards them directly to the company.
Totally floored.

Sears Holdings Corp. has handed OgilvyOne a tall order, naming the firm its direct marketing and CRM agency of record for both the Sears and Kmart brands.
And the kicker, the PR firm sends all PR requests to Sears Directly
The appointment comes as the retail community is facing declining sales and consumer confidence. Sears’ struggles began before the holiday season when the multichannel retailer posted a 4.6% decline in total domestic comparable store sales for the third quarter of last year and 4.1% decline for the second quarter. The retailer also has come under scrutiny recently for its online privacy practices. OgilvyOne referred requests for comment to Sears, who declined to be interviewed for this article.
That says more than anything, when Ogilvy starts sending the PR requests to the company directly is the exact moment people should start wondering what is going on there….
