The problem with this is that Google is really green as compared to print media …. yes it’s a threat… and a very valid one to the industry.

Companies related to Google, SEO, Social Media Optimization and other types of online marketing have flourished during the start of this recession.

It’s pretty amazing stuff to watch, Advertising Agencies have struggled over the past few years updating their infrastructure to accommodate online strategies, by and large they have failed to extreme levels, hence the rapid growth of normally non-factors such as 2 million interactive marketing firms that have been stealing the thunder as of late.

It’s a big deal, and a big opportunity if you are an agency with a strong reputation, pretty much sink or swim… get the online infrastructure in place.. or drift into irrelevance.
