Look at how long this has been rumored ? The only credible confirmation will come when Steve Jobs announces it. Until then, there is no other way to confirm anything. I have to agree. If this IS legit, then it will come from Apple. The iPhone 4 is already $199, so no price change there. If they open it to New and Upgrades, then I could see some validity to Verizon and their customers. However, perking it for JUST new customers is not going to be a good thing.

C’mon, seriously. If u want the iPhone go to AT&T. If you don’t like AT&T stay with verizon and get a droid or wait it out and see if they finally get one. I have a friend that works in Verizon, and he tell me that Iphone its coming in March, then I call coustumer services and they tell me that its coming in March.

the 3rd point simply sounds dumb, if an at&t exclusive phone just came to verizon and be offered to only at&t customers who just switched to verizon recently perks by being first in line, thats like stabbing at&t in the back lol

If it’s true that only new customers get the white iPhone, that’s a horrible move on Verizon’s part. People stuck with Verizon and went without an iPhone for a better service. So they repay the loyal customers by withholding from them, but letting new customers (some of whom switched to AT&T) by giving them the white iPhone?

Not that I would want a white iPhone, but if new customers get perks that I don’t or if they get the phone before I’m able to upgrade it, I’m switching services. There’s a lot to be said for customer loyalty.

Verizon’s CDMA network is much more powerful than AT&T’s GSM. The internet is much faster and when it comes to voice quality and coverage area there is no comparison. I am not a “hater”.
