Waste Management and FKM go etsaw

“etsaw” Hee-Haw …… We are still taken back at this website strategy. In our opinion they need an Agency Review for InterActive.

The Web site wants to “reverse the way you think about waste,” so it plays visually with the idea. The word “waste” switches to “etsaw” and back several times, as do some words on the navigation bar. Click on the small Waste Management truck, and the waste container on the site changes into a pastoral scene. Click on the truck again, and a pop-up box tells about biodiesel and other alternative fuels.

“We want all people to think of Waste Management as an environmental services company, not just one that picks up trash,” said Brooke B. Farrell, a vice president of FKM, Waste Management’s longtime advertising agency.
