Soviet Era Edward Khil becomes Online Sensation

Evidently all things EDWARD KHIL are now in demand and it’s all due to social media. Everything from bids on Ebay for any memorabilia to some sort of land rush regarding domain registrations. The obscure Soviet Era entertainer hit the main page of Digg and a day earlier it made it on Reddit. Next thing you know there are thousands of mentions of Edward Khil on Twitter and the view count on Youtube went from near zero to tens of thousands within a matter of a day.

The video in question is somewhat addicting as most people actually are like “what the hell is this” and find themselves humming the tune and rewatching the video.
