SEO/SEM Industry changes overnight - Microsoft to Buy Yahoo!
REDMOND, Wash. (AP) — Microsoft Corp. is making an unsolicited $44.6 billion offer for Yahoo Inc., an Internet icon and one the best known Web portals, in a move to boost its competitive edge against Google Inc. in the online services market.

It’s something we suspected would happen a few years ago… but in the eyes of this reporter, this just changed the landscape of the entire SEM/SEO landscape… and the online Advertising industry overnight…. The problem we have is that Yahoo! was only slightly better than MSN in terms of results for clients. So as some have already compared it to the Sears / K-Mart merger … two idiots with IQ’s of 75 does not equal a genius level IQ of 150.
