Apple Ipad trademarked last week by someone other than Apple

Why did the trademark office allow the iPad to be trademarked by another company last week? We broke the story — you have to read that before this story makes sense regarding the bombshell.

Now this is where it becomes a problem.
The one that received all the press was the one that most likely wouldn’t win in court, the one from Fujitsu is regarding a “HAND-HELD COMPUTING DEVICE FOR WIRELESS NETWORKING IN A RETAIL ENVIRONMENT” — you mean a wedding day registry price scanner?
