Toll Brothers : Our agency can’t rank us in Google - We’re hiring for SEO

In perhaps one of the most stunning moves we have seen in recent times, Toll Brothers, one of the largest home builders in the country traded on NYSE: TOL pretty much just stated ‘our agency can’t rank us’ and puts out a help wanted ad for Search Engine Optimization. This is pretty interesting, to hire a full time SEO expert they are going to have to fork over 6 figures a year +stock options if not more for one of the top people in the industry.
On top of the loss of revenue for the Agency, now they are going to face another problem.
If the builder’s SEO is successful eventually he will have control over the website and online marketing overall, meaning this could cost the agency big time in terms of creative and overall direction of the online marketing of the company.
We can’t stress how important this is for an Advertising Agency to have this under control, or risk losing the entire online marketing of the client.
