Agency Spy : Goodby, Silverstein wrecks Superbowl commercial for Hyundai
the Goodby, Silverstein Advertising agency screw-up of 2008 created spots, which tested so poorly, Hyundai didn’t want to run them. The company tried to pull the ads because of those dismal numbers in an attempt to yes, not waste $4.3M. The Super Bowl is forever. You can’t just run anything. It’s got be good. No exceptions.

Now that is classic, Goodby, Silverstein created horrific ads, billed Hyundai for the creation, for the cost of putting the ads up on the SuperBowl… then last but not least… chances are they got the referral fee….
Now that is amazing… totally amazing… Agency Spy is predicting they are getting canned.. We think not, generally speaking millions wasted are a drop in the bucket….. these guys we are told have ‘great relationships’ with Hyundai ….
