Clever — Really Clever Video spot
August 6, 2009
The below video will make no sense unless you complete the entire thing, at that point you will most like go back and feel that this is the most clever video that you have seen in some time. Using only narration and text, this inspiring video uses a clever trick to make its point about being alive in this generation.
The video appears to give credit to the AARP… I am currently unsure which advertising agency created the spot, but this is deserving of a view.
Perhaps it is the simplicity of it, or perhaps it’s using nothing but text and reading to make a point. However video spots like this haven’t existed in years… at least thought provoking videos like this.
Congrats on getting the message across. Because a commercial like this only happens once in a blue moon.

Got something to say?

Agree. It is brilliant.
Too bad this idea was first done in brazil for a political campaign about 4 years ago, and done and done ever since.
shame.
The original that I’ve found was done in Argentina for a polical campaign.
Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFz5jbUfJbk
ahhh tribble, once again you make magnificent proclamations before the facts roll in…….maybe thrice in a blue moon, eh?
is this video targeted toward Gen Y? Because technically Gen X was considered to be the “lost generation” too
