The Dallas Morning News Appoints Tracy Martin Taylor
Publisher of Quick and General Manager of Arts and Entertainment

DALLAS (July 8, 2009) – The Dallas Morning News has named industry veteran Tracy Martin Taylor Publisher of Quick and General Manager of Arts and Entertainment. In her role, effective July 1, Taylor is responsible for overseeing the arts and entertainment revenue for the publication, along with handling the day-to-day operation of Quick.

Focused exclusively on local entertainment, events and nightlife, Quick publishes in a tabloid format and includes expansive coverage of events, nightlife, music, movies, eating and drinking. In addition, the weekly publication features other topics that are important to young adults such as dating, relationships, fashion and shopping. Quick provides advertisers a unique, highly targeted way to reach more than 90,000 active readers in the desirable 18-34 year-old demographic.

Taylor most recently worked as General Sales Manager for Clear Channel in Dallas, where she managed revenue for KDGE-FM, KZPS-FM and KFXR-AM. In addition, she oversaw the execution of all station concerts and led non-traditional revenue programs. Previously, Taylor served as Regional Marketing Manager and National Marketing Manager at Wherehouse Music/Blockbuster Entertainment, where she focused on national consumer promotions, concerts and events, online marketing, media buying and marketing and strategic planning.
