YouTube : Everyone is a TV station now
In a stunning move, everyone can revenue share with the content they throw up on YouTube.
Meaning that not only are the major media partners going to revenue share, but everyone is. This means that the next viral campaign you launch could not only net you page views, it could net you cash as well.
It’s a big move, really big move.
Already a Manhattan based advertising firm told us that they were considering using commercials they generate to count towards revenue to the client’s account.
When asked to clarify this, they stated that the revenue would go to the client, not to themselves.
Interesting business model however. Making money off the commercials you create for the client via ads on Google’s YouTube.
Free Commercials…that could change the Advertising Agency model somewhat.
