Advertising Agency McCann Worldgroup hires someone

Finally someone hired, it appears that advertising agency McCann Worldgroup, hired 24 people to its Birmingham office to help with Aldi Inc., the discount grocer that just signed McCann.
In light of the thousands upon thousands of firings during this advertising depression, 24 people don’t put a dent in the overall ad agency unemployment rate, but this is one of the few “we hired” that we have seen in a long time.
Hopefully this is the start of a trend… and not just because 600 people got fired at their last ad agency when they pulled out… leaving a net gap of negative 576 people.
