The Ron Paul Advertising Agency

Ron Paul’s Ad Agency campaign approach compared to the Obama’s Multiple Ad Agencies approach is unsettling for the other candidates.

The Ron Paul Campaign is having his supporters make their own ads to display on CNN and YouTube.

It’s amazing — because in this regards, it’s literally putting power to the people for creating the Television and YouTube ads. It’s also actually slightly frightening, because it’s proving to the world that technology to produce video has been made so inexpensive that a hand-held digital camcorder with proper video editing software (most of it is free going the open source route) has allowed creative individuals to make ads that are… well… I hate to say this.. better than the Ads being pushed out from the high-paid agencies that other campaigns are hiring.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons the Ron Paul Campaign is more successful online than the others, because the message they send matches their marketing campaign. Empowering the people and taking out the layers of red-tape / government.

This Ad campaign proves just that.

He never really hired an advertising agency for massive media spends, instead he relied on a base of supporters that pretty much did the work for him. November 5th, the day he raised over $4.3 million online. That wasn’t his work. It was the work of his supporters. He even noted that he, like everyone else, caught wind that it was going on. The thing with it is that it continued to snowball, he raised over a million the following week on top of the November 5th event.

Something about this campaign that sort of threatens everything… from the other candidates view of what their Advertising Agencies are doing as compared to the Ron Paul ‘everyone’ is my ad agency approach. To the entire concept of government.

Some call him crazy, his supporters feel that the current status is what should be called crazy.

Regardless, in terms of ROI, looking at it from a purely financial standpoint. The Ron Paul campaign is highly efficient… to the point where spending zero to raise millions over the course of a week is no laughing matter, Hillary, Rudy, Obama and Mitt would love to see that ROI… but it’s not even close…. not by a mile.

His Campaign might be considered the most efficient in history, and he could thank his Advertising Agency for creating the most effective campaign on earth… his supporters.
