The Happy Soul Industry

Rolling on the floor laughing, that is perhaps the best way to phrase it. I just completed new book, The Happy Soul Industry by Steffan Postaer of Euro RSCG Chicago. The book keeps you wide-eyed and happily flipping pages hoping to figure out what happens next. In essence God is looking for an advertising agency to raise the profile of the “Happy Soul Industry” and she’s no prude… … and it starts off with a pitch to an agency… and the agency staff initially rebuffed that they are not doing anything pro-bono… we only do that stuff to get awards. Classic.
The book, though comical, does touch upon many of the modern issues surrounding the current advertising agency environment. Drug use, sex, less than honorable ways to get business… and does hammer at it’s very core… especially at the end.
