Lowe’s Companies, Inc. - Major Credit Problems

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. has a serious problem in their online credit department, we have received several complaints that they have marked up individuals credit report for payment. (yes you heard that right, for payment… not non-payment.. for payment). Meaning that the company has actively reported individuals for payment and reported it to the reporting bureaus as non-payment!
We urge everyone to contact Lowes and the credit bureaus. A call to Lowes noted that “it’s not a wide spread problem” and since we have a Lowe’s account, we had a right to check. They claimed our account wasn’t affected. But then we found it WAS affected, and marking up our credit report… 12 non-payments for 2008… each of them paid in full and on time online.
Their payment system allows for scheduled payments, it takes the money out of your account… but marks it as not paid in their internal system and immediately reports it to the credit agencies as non-paid….
