Chuck Porter from Crispin Porter + Bogusky gets 100k to say Boulder is ‘non-bureaucratic’

October 16, 2007

Crispin Porter + Bogusky, a Miami-based advertising agency with a large Boulder presence, has been authorized to receive a rebate of taxes and permit fees worth $100,000 as part of the city of Boulder’s flexible rebate program. (source)

Why does Crispin Porter + Bogusky a firm with a target of 350 employees by next year and generating $56.5 million in revenue (source: hoovers) get tax benefits. Don’t you think that other firms need help in the area, and not just some random ad agency? Corporate welfare to extreme levels.

Why does an advertising agency like that get tax breaks where other firms in the area don’t? Why does Crispin Porter + Bogusky get 100 grand in tax benefits, but other firms do not?

Chuck Porter then states regarding Boulder : ‘It’s enlightened, progressive and amazingly non-bureaucratic’

Well he got paid $100,000 to say that.

Why wouldn’t they get a rebate? If they put up a windmill, should they also not get energy credits?
