Larry Flynt asks for TARP funds

Larry Flynt and Joe Francis have asked for TARP funds / bailout money , they state the porn industry is declining due to the economic depression and needs to be bailed out

We suspect they are doing this due not for the need of an actual bailout, but rather to prove a point. Comical yes, but it does raise some questions… such as where do these bailouts end? Why only Auto and Financial firms get bailouts while small business is given the shaft?

    Larry Flynt is such a needle in the vein of the establishment, you know he’s just doing this to prove a point. Classic Flynt, I love it!

    Joe Francis, on the other hand, is just an idiot who had one good idea and beat it into the ground, he can go away now.

    Don’t we all need a little TARP money? If tiny little banks can get it, if auto companies can get it, if insurance companies can get it, why not anyone? But you need to get your request in before January 20, because I bet at 2:00pm eastern time that day the TARP wallet gets closed.

    I still back The Founder’s original idea to bail out financial companies with the provision that all consumer debts be forgiven and start fresh. That will stimulate a lot of people to go back and buy goods by charging a spanking new credit card, or buy a new car, or maybe even a house.

    The total credit card debt in the United States is less than the total funds available to TARP.. meaning that they could of theoretically paid off all the credit card debt in the United States and bailed out the banks (since the credit card debt is owned primarily to banks) in one fell swoop.

    But I don’t think the idea was to bailout the middle class, the idea was for the middle class to bail out the banks.
