Bush attacked with Shoes - Video Included

December 14, 2008

We don’t even know what to say about this. Bush is literally ducking while under attack by a “shoe bomber” .. well without the bombs… Bush in the video is seen dodging shoes being thrown at him high velocity.. with the intent to nail him square in the face. This is an amazing piece of footage that one day would make a hell of a commercial… well.. for something…. (don’t know exactly what).

Worth noting the reporter is screaming to Bush while tossing the shoes at him “fuck your dad you are a dog”…

Not an attack. That’s how Iraqis greet people as liberators. If they didn’t tackle the guy he was going to finally throw the flowers and candy that the Bush administration promised the Iraqis would.

Come on, He is a sitting President! The guy that threw the shoe wouldn’t have thrown it at Saddam..or his head would be cut off! Even though Bush said he was fine, the Secret Service still should have taken him to another location to be sure it wasn’t a distratction for another attack! I am not happy with Bush’s presidency, but I don’t want him wacked either!

Pretty damn funny… And this was a reporter… Too bad he didnt wear boots. Not long before the circus leaves town and takes the monkey with it.
    Cheers/George

I think it was slackness on Secret Service’s part. Regardless of whether you like him or not, it’s their job to protect him, and not assume that he’s safe. I can maybe understand the first shoe, but the reporter should have been taken out before he could throw the second one, and Bush brought to the ground and covered as well. Some people need to be fired.

I agree Maestro …. suppose this guy was throwing more than shoes.

Bush is truly shameless, he still had a big smile after being attacked by shoes.

Hey, we wanted to give them democracy. Now we did! They can use their freedom of speech and expression ;)

Sadly both shoes missed Bush. For my American friends who claim to give freedom to Iraqis, when exactly they asked for it? You also gave freedom to Red Indians who too are thankless creature.

Wow. I’m more shocked at the responses in the comment section than I am by the actual video. I’m ashamed of you. You have less decorum than a group of toddlers. Regardless of his political positions or your views on his presidency he is still the President of the United States and deserves some respect.

Respect? He does not deserve respect. Bush made us less safer by going into Iraq and further provoking these radicals nutjobs. Instead of going into iraq, we should’ve focused on the bigger problem in Afghanistan. Sure Saddam Hussian started a genocide, but there are a few going on around the world, i.e in tibet, durfur, ect…, nonetheless, u.s. has not taken any action in those places. Why?, one may ask. The answer is simple, those places are not of any interest or value. By invading Iraq, two bird were killed using one stone. We eliminated the threat of a potential nuclear iraq that could’ve been a threat to U.S, and its allies (interests), i.e. Saudi Arabia and other arab nations, and we also made a base in Iraq hoping that it would benefit economically us in the future. Now we are seeing that we were too idealistic thinking that we were killing two bird with one stone.

[...] We have to admit that his shoe pitching skills are considerable and he might make a welcome addition to any team. You can view his pitch video here [...]

what the heck. The guy should have been killed after the first shoe. Secret Service failing miserably at their job. This is not a laughing matter over policies. Bush lover or hate him is the President of The United States. I feel bad for Obama if this is how the Secret Service is going to protect our President.. As I’m sure there will be attempts on him. I Pray to God that none are successful but if the Secret Service doesn’t do their job the outlook is grim.

Mr Bush is still The President of The United States of America. That should not have happened! Like him or not, we must stand behind our president. I don’t agree or support 98% of his policies; however, he is still is my president, holding the highest office of the Nation. He deserves our support with rude people who didn’t only throw one but two shoes….Where were his Secret Service people? Shame on them for allowing it to happen! I cannot wait for President Elect Mr Obama to take office. I believe the world will have more respect and honor for us and our President.

Got something to say?
