KB Toys files for Bankruptcy

The nations number 2 toy retailer, KB stores has declared bankruptcy and will close down it’s 277 stores citing a “sudden” drop in sales. The companies 11,000 employees will be left looking for work. . It’s unknown at this time who their advertising agency of record is / was…

Not really an agency news, but I am sure it will have a ripple effect on the agency handling it. KB Toys is closing. 11,000 people will be without a job. How ironic that a Toy store will file bankruptcy before Xmas?
