Ogilvy to hand out pink slips for Christmas

George Parker has a solid lead that Ogilvy is letting 200 - 250 staffers go right after Christmas.
This is horrible stuff, you know they should be telling the staffers NOW so they don’t start bulking up on Holiday presents when they know their job is out the window.. instead what Ogilvy is doing is telling them “all is fine” so these staffers get their kids, husband and wife gifts and they will be out of a job when the credit card bill comes in.
This is just wrong… period.
