We are having some unconfirmed reports that discussions are underway for a StarCraft Movie between Blizzard Entertainment and one of the major movie companies.

Please note this is NOT CONFIRMED

However we view the source as vaild, but as far as we know we are the first to publish the leak.

Our source said the movie would run ‘somewhere late 2008 or early 2009… if everything goes right’

StarCraft is trademarked by Blizzard .. Tribble Ad Agency was not informed of the ‘big studio’ that Blizzard was in discussion with.

    oh hell yes! player of sc since 99, we been waiting for a movie since then! This is going to be insane since the game already incorporated the best parts of most of the sci fi movies out there! & the movie producers wont be out of pocket…. way too many devoted fans. the biggest selling game ever! ten years on people are still playing it. In fact i just had a game before!

    starcraft is one of the best sci-fi games ever and i just LOVE the story in this game i simply love it my favorited oart is in brood war when the second human fleet arives from earth ;)

    its almost guaranteed this leak must have seen a starcraft 2 cinematic, and they look so amazing that someone could have easily mistaken it for a clip from a movie, so i wouldnt count on a movie comin out, at least anytime soon….. however if any of you have checked into it, there was a hit on Legendary pictures having a diablo movie as “in development” though that was some time ago, and have now taken it down, blizzard sued New Line of the rights of the trademarked name “Diablo” which was going to be the original name of A man apart with vin diesel

    i would like to see a full cgi movie like Advent children or something rather than a live action movie. I wanna see the real characters, not just some cheap actor replacement who doesnt resemble the characters at all.
