Tribble Ad Agency now accepted in Google News

October 21, 2008

Google News has accepted Tribble Ad Agency as a valid news source for advertising agencies. This is a long way from our humble beginnings when we were lampooned for our style of reporting. The progressive nature of the reporting is what actually earned the right to be in Google News.

We’ve reviewed your site and will be adding it to our index for Google News. The inclusion of your articles should be processed within the next few weeks.

The Google News authorization has opened multiple doors for us. Thanks to Google News. What is reported here is now counted as true news (as it should) as compared to just a website posting news.

A whole hearted thank you to Google, our viewers, and last but not least the industry reporters such as Matt Van Hoven, Superspy, George Parker, Jake Swearingen, OntheDL666, Steve Hall, Alan Wolk, Robert Gilbreath, Brian Morrissey and everyone else that has contributed reporting overall and helped raise the quality of news for the industry — indirectly and directly as they greatly influence the overall news regarding advertising agencies.

Woot. Well done. Watch your traffic figures and readership soar. Google News is a simple but effective creature.

Google News SEO is an absolute favourite of mine… though its frustrating they only tell you what was wrong with the story four days after the story went live given that a story older than four days is too old for Google News!

You’re a fan? W00t :) I had no idea - in fact, I’ve been waiting until we had suitably big news before drawing up a personal email/contact for you rather than letting the marcoms team whap you with the standard press release!

Andrew, many years ago… a UK based search engine optimization forum called SearchGuild (Chris Ridings used to own it) a few of your employees did post there often … I was a moderator there… so I got to know them pretty well..

I always loved their questions / thoughts / answers …

Got something to say?
