Bail Me Out

Total American Credit Card Debt - $750.9 billion

American Credit Card debt totals 750 billion…. most of it owed to banks.. want to pump cash into the banking system?.. Then pay off all our credit cards instead.

If we are going to bail out the banks, bail them out this way. Pay off all our credit cards. A few years ago, our total credit card debt was roughly $750.9 billion total (all credit card debt combined). Or roughly equal to what congress is trying to spend this very second.

It rewards irresponsible use of credit cards (just like this bailout rewards irresponsible allocation of loans)… but the banks will get their money this way… and American taxpayers get relief as well.

The current crappy solution provides 20 million dollar salaries for 17 days of work as in the case of the WaMu CEO.

Basically it appears we can’t stop Washington from taking out that massive bailout… so at least apply it properly.

A credit card bailout will flood the banks with cash as it’s to be paid to them directly… and it will free Americans of the vast majority of credit card debt.. will spur the economy as those pesky hundreds of dollars a month we are all paying back right now will vanish.. freeing up money to spur the economy.

Is this something we want to happen… not really.. but if you are gonna blow the money.. at least hit two birds with one stone. We can’t stop Washington from this bailout.. so at least bail US out (or at least me).

Enjoy the joke… a bailout like that won’t ever happen.
