The Witch Doctor / Hunter cures Sarah Palin - Video

September 24, 2008

Can someone please explain to us what is going on here from 7:15 to 9:47 ? it appears to be a Witch Doctor or better said Witch Hunter curing Sarah Palin… however we need some higher authority than us to explain it.

We are highly confused at this.. how it was released.. and what actually this is. If Obama’s Ad Agencies (SS&K or GMMB) released this (or leaked it).. please inform us.

We stress you want to start off about 7:15 or so to save time, but feel free to watch the entire 10 minutes of it if you have the time.

If the video is pulled down let us know… we have a copy of it… we also are unfamilar with what would be the proper terminology (hunter/doctor/whatever) for this.. as we have never seen anything like this before.

Not sure what this has to do with advertising or even SEO, but its clearly faked. The voice changes right before where you are telling people to jump to. Keep your Obamaniac propaganda to yourself.

fakemuch, then let this be known… everyone start from the beginning.. and watch this in it’s full glory…. start at 2 minutes.. or 1 minute.. or from the very beginning and watch it..

What does this have to do with Advertising? Everything.. you think for a second that politics and general opinion doesn’t influence advertising??

Also considering I have an open question to both of Obama’s ad agencies requesting if they leaked this..

Is this fake? I have not the slightest idea… my gut feeling is that it isn’t… I hear the voice change as well.. but the video shakes too hence I feel it’s poor camera (considering this video must be years old… most likely an old VHS tape recorder) rather than your opinion that it’s faked…

It’s news.. it’s reported… and you people can sort out if it’s real or not. my vote is that it’s real.

I can see how this might be disturbing to some. However, it is nothing strange in certain church circles. They are merely praying for her. It seems that the gentleman praying is a visiting pastor or evangelist, and he is offering a prayer for her. Praying like this is typical in some churches. It can be an uncomfortable experience as the person being prayed for may or may not agree with the prayer, but you want to be polite. I see nothing wrong, per se. Just awkward. (I grew up in a church like this)

I think many Americans will find this somewhat “creepy” … that’s my personal opinion…. I myself have never been to a religious service like that…

Praying like this is common in “charismatic” circles, which are the subset of Christians that the mainstream might call radical. It is a totally different experience than a mainstream Episcopal or Presbyterian service. It sometimes has a cultish vibe to outsiders (and, frankly, is a little cultish to me - having experienced it first hand)

You can’t tell if this is her church, if this is a church she was visiting, etc.

Bottom line is, you close your eyes, let them pray, be polite and go sit back down. She scored high points for good Charismatic etiquette!

I’m a Christian with my vote firmly going to Obama, but I’m just wondering why you’re referring to this man as a Witch Doctor? Is it because he’s black and speaks with an accent? NOTHING he said makes any indication of this whatsoever.

“I saw it aired on television” So that makes it true? I watched Fringe the other day, X-files too, I guess I should watch out. Funny how there is nothing substantiated out there about this. Everything I am finding seems to be on either extreme liberal sites or in chats with no evidence or support.

I didn’t see anything but good ole fundamentalist praying.
If you want so see the typical style of a faith healer then
I suggest you recall Ernest Ainsley from the 70′s and 80′s.

Hey don’t get me wrong. I’m not a Palin fan but this doesn’t
look that weird to me. I was expecting something weirder.
So I think this video has no legs for a story.

This is an evangelist….not a witch doctor. He is simply giving a “sermon”. This is a prime example of people jumping to conclusions when it comes to politics. This political election has gone too far. Sarah Palin appears to be a charasmatic Christian. How can we hold that against her? This is her choice just as it was Obama’s choice to go to a church which appeared to hate white people. This video shows this evangelist speaking about witchcraft being “rebuked in the name of Jesus”-that means he is speaking AGAINST witchcraft. Therefore, he would not be a witch doctor/hunter. He also says earlier in the video that he wishes school curriculum would speak out against witchcraft. The video follows with a simple prayer for Sarah Palin. In churches, it is common for friends to rally around someone and put their hands on the shoulders or back to show they are in support and praying together with and for this person. I have grown up seeing things like this. It has nothing to do with witches or anything of the sort.

This isn’t anything but a pretty normal prayer, nothing to see here.

If you have a problem with the idea of Christianity in general then that’s something different, but this prayer really isn’t that strange.

I’ll be voting for Obama, but this shouldn’t even be a noteworthy video.

This absolutely should be noteworthy. This is someone who could be close to running our country and I think we should seriously question anyone who blindly follows religion to the extent that it pits ‘us’ versus ‘them’. We should all be freaked out by this - no matter which religion we are.

By the way, there is not difference between a witch doctor and a preacher - they’re both following a religion for which there is no evidence and which causes conflict and pain the world over.

This was simply a good pastor praying a good prayer over a good woman. I can’t even begin to understand why people are calling this a “witch doctor video” that is so ridiculous!!! I am glad that Sarah has faith in God and that she believes in prayer…I mean didn’t Abraham Lincoln believe the same thing and nobody gave him grief…just respect and honor.

This is a Christian man of God, praying to protect Sarah for the evils of witchcraft that so obviously blinded so many and even some Christians who choose to vote for Obama who is only 6.25 % African Negro, 43.75 Arabic and 50% Caucasian, and was a practicing MUSLIM for 31 years of his life, til his wife made him change to run for office.

this christian man of god drove a woman from her home in kenya claiming she was witch because she operated a psychic business. he claims he was called by god to do so. he also claimed that God brought him to the area to do just that. do you still believe in witch hunts? sarah palin is a member of an irrational, far right, superstitious branch of Christianity. i should my father has been a minister all of his life while also serving in the united states air force. i have been to many churches in the southeastern united states and have found this sort of thing in some of the more out of the way churches. it has always been disconcerting. not for what it is, but for what it says about its practitioners. it makes them out to be a rather superstitious lot. the more we learn about sarah palin the more she proves she does not need to be anywhere near the white house. ask yourself if that is really what you need in your next vice president.

I relish any opportunity to humiliate a politician, but I gotta admit I got sucked into a weird religious thing like this once myself, and I sympathyze with Sarah on this one. You could tell she was creeped out and uncomfortable up there. Like Obama in the robe pix…just humiliating hoops campaigners have to jump through…what a soulless profession.

No, Abraham Lincoln did not believe in this sort of Christianity, while he may have quoted the Bible at times, he was not a devout Christian by any standard. Responded Lincoln, “I am not at all concerned about that. . . . But it is my constant anxiety and prayer that I and this nation should be on the Lord’s side.” This quote does not sound like someone who believes that he was tapped by God to lead the country, and that all his actions are God’s bidding. And Sarah Palin and George Bush are the type that are so sure of themselves and their religion that everything they do, they believe is God’s will, must be God’s will, and they are right absolutely, because Jesus/God or Horus or Mithra (do the research, basically the same Gods) are “on their side.” She believes the endtimes are coming, and she will be second in line to have her finger on the nuclear trigger, no thank you, that type of religiosity should be barred from the white house, well, depending on your interpreation of the Constitution, IT IS.

Honestly whether this video is real or not, the fact remains that Palin has proven through her own words that she is a religious extremest. When a vice presidential candidate says “I will see Jesus return to earth in my lifetime”, it tells me that person is dellusional. I consider myself to be a religious person. I have read the bible and I recall it saying that humans will not know when Jesus will return. It seems to me like she would like to force further conflicts between the U.S. and other countries. Maybe with Russia. Hey she has so much foreign policy experience there maybe that could be her moment to shine. I suspect this video hasn’t caused a mainstream media stir because this type of thing isn’t a surprise coming from her.

I am no Sarah Palin fan by any stretch of the imagination, but really nothing crazy about the vid, at least not the section with Palin in it. This isn’t a “witch doctor” just a preacher who felt led to pray for someone in the church. And to make it clearer, I’m voting Obama, but those of you who find this video far out there on an extreme..you need to get out more often LOL. I don’t know this man and don’t know if he is fake or real, I have experienced such services often however and have seen everything from money grubbing crackpots, to individuals for whom there was no possible explanation other than being gifted from God. I have been prayed for by those thinking themselves prophets who didn’t have a clue, but also spoken to by others, given unbelievably specific answers to questions nobody on earth knew I had but me. I’ve also been on the opposite end, used by God to speak about very specific secrets within the lives of strangers. Sarah Palin isn’t the best for America, She may very well have extremist religious views, but don’t discount the power of God.

I’m a witch…a practitioner of Wicca who grew up In the African Methodist Episcopal church. I’m also an ardent Democrat and supporter of Obam AND truth. I don’t like right wing fanatics and to me Sarah Palin is comedy relief. However, the truth is the gentleman praying for her was calling on the name of JESUS. Unless the Cristianity has drastically changed that used to mean anyone praying for someone in Christ’s name was a Christian. Witches are pagans and believe in Gods and/or the Goddess. While the invocation of Christ isn’t forbidden usually it is Christians who do so. Hence the term Christian. It’s only ignorance that continues to denigrate Witchcraft as a legitimate belief and there’s absolutely no reason that I can see to associate it with Ms. Palin. I haven’t heard of any witches casting spells for her. More likely we cast them for the country, the world, and for peace…Obama won!!!
