Crispin Porter & Bogusky to dump all Apple Computers

August 21, 2008

Perhaps Crispin Porter & Bogusky took note from the Enfatico Disaster ..

Sacks then asked if CP&B plans to force employees off their Macs now that it’s Microsoft’s agency. Rob Reilly, Bogusky’s executive on the Microsoft account, answered: “It’s not a matter of forcing people. It’s getting them to want to use it. If you can’t, you’re not going to do great advertising.”

Funny thing… we don’t even own many Apple or Windows machines… Linux all the way… no wonder we never fit in… even though there is a perfectly free.. and powerful Distro that can handle all their needs.

Forgive me for potentially looking stupid, but where in the article does it say that Crispin will be dumping Apple as the headline states?

“It’s getting them to want to use it. If you can’t, you’re not going to do great advertising.””

Literally that states that they either use Vista Machines.. or they do bad Advertising.. and that is his words.. not mine….

So when I had to Pick which headline to uset…. “Rob Reilly : Crispin says they are bad at Advertising” or “they are switching to Vista Machines”

I figured they didn’t want to say they do bad advertising……

I will cut and paste it over and over …. hopefully you’ll get it.

Your an idiot. You can copy and paste as much as you want it still doesn’t meet your twisted thought of what it means.

If an advertiser doesn’t believe in what they are promoting, can they effectively promote it? So if they don’t believe in Microsoft/Windows (this is not just about Vista) can they effectively create an ad campaign?

“It’s getting them to want to use it. If you can’t, you’re not going to do great advertising.”

So are they going to dump their Apple Machines? Or are are they just not doing great advertising because they don’t believe in the product? You seem to have trouble addressing that statement in any meaningful manner…

Just address that statement and clarify it… .. and I will be happy to publish a retraction… however you can’t.. so I won’t….

Got something to say?
