Enfartico.Com pulled off the Internet by Enfatico

Enfartico has been pulled of the Internet because of a complaint by Enfatico. We noted earlier:
Enjoy the mess… We are somewhat concerned regarding legal trademark issues however… though most of us fully understand it’s a spoof site.. we are more concerned however with how WPP’s army of paid lawyers view it…
Hence it appears our view was right.
The story was broken by Agency Spy.
There are spoof sites that are funny, and their are spoof sites that some lawyer could say went over the line… in this case the site might of violated copyrights and trademarks… or better said, WPP and Enfatico’s lawyers scared the host enough to THINK that there was a legal leg to stand on…
Don’t get me wrong, the site was funny… and Enfatico is a popular whipping post for many Ad Agency Bloggers, but sometimes things go too far….. and at the same time.. a company backed by DELL and WPP group plc should not be bullying around spoof sites..
