happymeal.com part 2 - the agency is discovered

Finally after much digging we found the ‘addicted to flash hate mobile‘ agency that designed the happymeal.com site. The agency is Creata, and though it was difficult to navigate though their own site.. we did find a reference to McDonalds as their client.

Now watch McDonalds reward these guys with more business to build a mobile version, something they should of had included from the start..

  2. No I think it’s freaking comical that their digital agency of record didn’t know who built the digital property… Sure I’ll issue an apology… but it’s not one you are gonna like…

  3. I’m impressed, you followed through - good work.

    Obviously you’ve not been on the client side of any global brand. Brands that size go through agencies left and right. Even more, individual markets hire their own agencies, so a Brand like McD could literally have hundreds of agencies. The AOR has better things to do than keep track of who’s doing what/where. Chances are the Brand doesn’t even know.
