Emma Watson turned down Oscar-winning role in La La Land
Tracking suggests the film, which stars Harry Potter alum Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as The Beast, is set to take in excess of $120 million opening weekend in the USA alone.
Anglican Bishop Rennis Ponniah has issued a statement released on the St Andrew’s Cathedral website urging the clergy and deaconesses to alert their congregation about the homosexual content in the the Beauty And The Beast movie.
Starring Emma Watson as young Belle who falls in love with a horrific-looking man, it is one of the most buzzed about movies of the first-quarter of 2017.
“The British star recently said: “[‘Beauty and the Beast’] wasn’t a movie I could just sort of step into. “I don’t know about you but when I hear that song Beauty and The Beast I just melt”. “You just did another great job to spoil our childhood memory”.
Emma Watson and Miles Teller were the ones that were originally selected to embody the silver screen the A and Seb, but ultimately the roles got Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.
Former Harry Potter actress Watson said she wanted to take on the character of Belle because “she’s so fierce, she’s so smart”.
The same would be suggested from Watson’s interview with ITV’s Lorraine (via Digital Spy), during which she said: “With a movie like Beauty and the Beast it’s like three months prep, it’s like three or four months shooting, it’s in the UK”.
“La La Land” won many awards at the recent Academy Awards including Best Actress (Emma Stone) and Best Director (Damien Chazelle), as seen on IMDB.
“Like numerous additions to this movie, I think it’s a lovely, subtle moment that does its job and is left alone”.
“You know, I don’t see him pining”, Menken told ComicBook.com.
She added: “I don’t want people going into this movie thinking that there’s like a huge narrative there”. We were then blown away by Minkpink’s awesome clothing collection created in conjunction with Disney, featuring rose motifs and an interpretation of Belle’s golden gown.
