Red-Blue America: Why are Democrats so angry?

Hillary’s stunning speech was as much about herself and her ideals as it was trying to warn the national about Trump.

“Sometimes the people at this podium are new to the national stage”, she said.

“I’ve been saying let’s just beat her on November 8th”.

“I don’t know about you, but I stayed up really late last night”, Clinton told an adorning crowd at Temple University in Philadelphia on Friday.

Clinton, who is vying to be the first woman elected U.S. president, called her nomination “a milestone”.

In addition to the statement, Trump tweeted several additional criticisms of Clinton. The surprise popularity of Sanders often put Clinton on the defense, having to explain why she was the best fit for the job.

Cuomo attacked the Republican party and Donald Trump’s campaign, accusing them of using fear to “excite and motivate people to yell and scream” and moving backward instead of forward.

Bernie supporters, emboldened by the recent DNC email leak, took to the streets in Philadelphia to voice their displeasure with Hillary and the Democrat party as a whole. He loses his cool at the slightest provocation. The newly-minted Democratic nominee told the watching world just what America’s future with a female president will be like - and how there may not BE a future if Donald Trump is in charge!

“Donald Trump says he wants to make America great again - well, he could start by actually making things in America again”, Clinton said.

“I believe that our economy isn’t working the way it should because our democracy isn’t working the way it should”, Clinton said.

Trump wasn’t the only one to go after Clinton’s tone.

Clinton said Trump is offering America “empty promises” and what she called “bigotry and bombast”.

“We are clear-eyed about what our country is up against”.

On Thursday night, Trump had said he wanted to “hit” some of the speakers “so hard their heads would spin”.

“And if you’re looking for a kind of pessimistic, downbeat vision of America, we’re not your folks”.

The apparently exhausted former commander-in-chief also appeared nonplussed about an awkward Kaine fidgeting next to him, who at one point seemed to be trying to block the convention cameras’ view of the napping ex-president.

Eight years ago, this nation elected its first African-American president.

The prospect of a man as mercurial and temperamental as Donald Trump entrusted with the nuclear codes is the best argument Clinton and the Democrats have for themselves.
