President Obama Endorses Hillary Clinton: ‘I’m With Her’

Bernie Sanders of Vermont said he’s not dropping out of the presidential race yet, but he does plan to help presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton defeat Donald Trump.

Hillary Clinton’s first speech as the presumptive Democratic nominee is a really important one: she chose to go to Planned Parenthood, where she made it abundantly clear that abortion, women’s health, and women’s lives are going to be a priority in this campaign.

Warren, a hero of progressive Democrats, is the latest party leader to fall in line behind Clinton after she clinched the requisite number of delegates earlier this week over rival Bernie Sanders.

Biden and Warren - who are popular with all factions of the Democratic Party - each delivered blistering broadsides against Trump at the legal society.

Ooh, burn. Trump kind of has a point here because usually Clinton signs her name at the end of her tweets to authorize them.

Trump tweeted to his 8.8 million followers: “Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary”.

“Race-baiting a judge who spent years defending America from the terror of murderers and drug traffickers simply because, long ago, his family came to America from somewhere else”. “It just means so much to have a strong, substantive endorsement from the president”.

Clinton is banking on her nuanced understanding of these issues to carry her to victory over perhaps the most openly misogynist candidate in modern history.

But Clinton hasn’t always been a favorite among fellow Democrats.

Sanders told reporters after the meeting that he would do everything “to make sure Donald Trump does not become president of the U.S.”.

Looking forward to her presidential campaign, the first major decision Ms. Clinton will have to make ahead of the national convention in July is that of choosing a vice-presidential running mate. In a slickly produced video endorsement, the president has thrown his support behind Hillary Clinton’s bid to keep the White House in Democratic hands.

Trump tweeted at 11:22 a.m.

He also accused Mrs Clinton of failing to understand the gravity of the risk posed by Islamic extremism, and faulted her for wanting to allow more Syrian refugees into the country.
