Donald Trump ‘temperamentally unfit’ to become President: Hillary Clinton
Standing in front of a backdrop of 19 large USA flags, an unusual abundance even by the standards of presidential campaign events, Clinton painted the election as a choice between “two very different visions”.
Clinton repeatedly invoked the threat of nuclear war, warning that Trump’s inexperience and proclivity for feuds would make a risky mix. Maybe people will say we can’t trust a person who’s never had any experience, but maybe there is the allure of a strongman.
Some have argued that a win in California would give Sanders not just a symbolic victory but also bargaining power for elevating his position at the convention.
“He is not just unprepared; he is temperamentally unfit”, Clinton told supporters in a ballroom.
“Imagine Donald Trump sitting in the situation room making life or death decisions on behalf of the United States“, Clinton said.
“She’s one of the worst secretaries of state in the history of our country”, he added. “Bragging, mocking, composing nasty tweets”.
“It’s no secret that he and I have our differences”, Ryan wrote.
She then blasted Trump for his Trump University saying several of his students had to take out loans and get into debt “so they can go to his Trump U”, to which the audience started chuckling.
“Her strength is her temperament: She is so cautious, so scripted, that she won’t scare people in the knee-jerk way that Donald Trump can scare people”, he said.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into Hillary Clinton’s use of her private emails instead of a government server, as well as her not keeping records.
During the rally in San Diego, the former First Lady urged voters not to support the billionaire businessman from NY because of his very volatile nature.
“I will leave it to the psychiatrists to explain his affection for tyrants”, she said, while trying to showcase her own grasp of world affairs.
“There isn’t a more flawed messenger on national security issues than Hillary Clinton, who as Obama’s secretary of state helped turn Libya into a jihadist playground, spearheaded the risky nuclear deal with Iran and secretly called for bringing terrorists from Guantanamo onto US soil”, he said.
“Five years’ statute of limitations, if I win”.
She said Democrat Bernie Sanders is the best presidential candidate. “It had nothing to do with foreign policy”. Clinton said she believes in a “smart and principled” foreign policy. Sanders has been unrelenting in his criticism of Clinton’s judgment and transparency, evaporating much of the goodwill she accrued with Americans during the four years she spent outside the political arena as secretary of state.
“He has the gall to say prisoners of war like John McCain aren’t heroes”, Clinton said, referring to the GOP’s 2008 presidential nominee. Even if she was not prosecuted, the scandal is certain to be a major issue in the campaign, he said.
“Because she doesn’t want to go to jail”, Trump said, suggesting that President Barack Obama and Clinton were at odds with each other.
Trump has given only one policy speech in his campaign.
Sanders also dug into Trump’s views on climate change during a rally in Fairfield, where temperatures soared past 95 degrees in a state dealing with drought. She said of Trump’s vague proposals: “This isn’t reality television - this is actual reality”.
