Charlie Sheen ex: He 'never' disclosed HIV status

He said he was diagnosed about four years ago. He was being threatened with lawsuits from the partners who say they were not told about his diagnosis when they were with him. Not just HIV; many stars are now coming out and raising consciousness about all kinds of medical conditions: "cancer, Parkinson's and others".

"I, myself - have been to the gynecologist once a year since we split up and have always been tested across the board for everything and have come back clean across the board every time".

The actress, who worked with Sheen for six years on the ABC sitcom, took to Instagram on Monday, posting a throwback picture of the two of them together along with a message.

Because while HIV is not a curse, it can sure be a sign of a life lived perhaps a little close to the edge - something he, who did it in public, can hardly deny. And even then I was afraid that someone would take my information and sabotage my life working at the national level as a young savvy political organizer. People are still like, "you're giving people HIV, you're a f***ing whore, you should die".

Charlie Sheen 's ex Bree Olson believes he was playing "Russian roulette" with her life. "I'm ready now", he said. Sheen told Lauer that he has paid millions in hush money to keep his diagnosis secret over the past four years.

He told a few trusted people in his circle including his ex-wives Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards.

Revealing HIV-positive status is still a "big deal" for any celebrity.
