Derby County: Former Rams star Kris Commons under fire from Celtic boss

Ronny Deila's grip on his position as Celtic manager was further weakened after another inept defensive display saw his side lose 3-1 in the key Europa League clash at Molde in Norway on Thursday.

Commons was seething after being taking off in the second half, despite scoring Celtic's only goal of the match.

He said: "That's unacceptable".

'We are a team.

Bottom of the table United have won just one league game this season, but Deila believes the team will be lifted by the arrival of a new manager. "That was very disrespectful to everyone else".

"He was talking to everybody". I expected much better and I'm very disappointed, of course.

"It is always a matter of having the balance between attacking and defending", said the Norwegian. We want to try to win every game.

"That's something we can't have", Deila told BBC Scotland.

Last night he went with the team already picked by Erling Moe, who had been in caretaker charge since Tor Ole Skullerud was sacked in August.

Many supporters remain hopeful that Deila's men will come good and point to the lack of investment in players as the true reason for a few of Celtic's woeful performances under the Norwegian.

"We are top of the league, we are still in both cups and still have a chance in Europe so there are a few positive things".

"The momentum was with us, and the manager was asking for people to press the ball and try to win it back high up, but 15-20 seconds later the ball ends up in the back of the net". Everything was too slow.

Aberdeen midfielder Kenny McLean admits Motherwell will hope to benefit from the loss of confidence at the Pittodrie club but he maintains that they have prepared well for the Steelmen's visit and have worked a lot on their defence.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the former Norwegian football player who sprang to global fame during his years at Manchester United, is heading back again to where his brilliant career began.
