As you can see, many of us are concerned about Nicholas and confused by recent events involving his wife (er, ex-wife in her eyes). Please bring this to the forefront so that Nicholas’s missing state remains most important. He needs to be found.

Thank you for keeping this in the spotlight. Everyone - friends, family, media and even the police seem to have forgotten about Nicholas.

Thank you so much for keeping the spotlight on this missing Father. I am not sure of what is going on with everything that relates to this case, but something strange seems to be going on. It isn’t right to beg for help finding someone, and then scream at people to stay out of your business.

There is begging on national tv for help finding Nicholas, There are donation funds, as the house payment can’t be made. He is an amazing husband and father whom would never walk out on his family.

The house is now empty, there has been said a divorce filing in the works. The family blog with updated information is being deleted, as is all the photos of Nicholas. The Find Nicholas site last checked had not been updated since first week in March.

I have heard family members of his aren’t answering emails or any questions reguarding Nicholas. These children deserve to have their loving father home and in their lives. They deserve an answer. Please do all you can to verify that Nicholas is Alive and Well.

    Thank you for caring.

Trackback are you saying he quit his job? Why is there so much secrecy surrounding Nick’s disappearance? I just want to know, with solid proof, he is ok. He should know he never has to go back to Christine but, too, he shouldn’t be “punishing” his kids this way…that is to say if he voluntarily left. Is Nicholas by any chance in Boston?

WOW…I have been trying to search and search for any updates and this is all I can find. Why would you divorce a missing man- has it been confirmed that he left on his own? I am still confused as to why Christine is pregnant with the 3rd child but says some places she is a mother of 3 and some a mother of 2? wierd.
I donated $ in the beginning- not a lot but what I could spare and I would really like to know what happened to him. Is he is harms way or is she divorcing him b/c he left on his own and there is proof??? So very strange. Hope he is ok and that his kids get their daddy back- whether he left on his own or not.

Is the wife a suspect in Nicolas’ disappearance? Normally a spouse would be the first to be under suspicion.

The fact that she has preemtively divorced him would seem very strange & suspicious to any person looking at this case objectively.

Where is Lt. Columbo when we need him most??

I think Christine is a evil, knieving woman. She knows WAY MORE then she’s saying. She has done nothing but reap the benefits from her husbands “disappearance” - money, free houses, clothing, food, etc. How about get off your A$$ and support your kids yourself??!! And now she’s divorcing a missing and possibly dead man?? She’s got bloodstains on her hands in one way or another. Pathetic.

    “knieving”?

I have an advanced degree in anthropology with a concentration in communication within a species.

    You’d make an interesting study.

i think he must have run away, the guy wears his computer like a wedding ring and its the only thing missing without any evidence in his car, this means that unless he was tricked into his car and knew the person he wouldnt have gone down without a struggle and leave some clue behind, criminals dont drive a persons car and not leave any clues whatsoever behind, and if they did leave even a small fingerprint smudge or hair the sea. pd would have found it. i think the man just had enough and was stressed either over $$$ with the next kid on the way or had a mistress on the side, because people just don’t disappear without a trace, also taking their prized laptop with them. he is probably good with computers and knows how to keep it untraceable and probably planned this for a while and as a result didn’t have to rely on credit cards or checking accounts to get the money to get out of SEATAC airport. btw while im dissecting his dissapearance did anybody scour departing flights in and around the 2 weeks surrounding his disappearance. (Im from Austin, TX so im not knowledgeable of the pacific northwest) Also it is very possible he paid someone money to leave his car there after they took him to an airport in either cali, oregon, or seattle, hell in five days he could have gone to fly out of vegas and back. anyways no one has commented in a while but maybe i can get people thinkking again and help get some closure not only to his wife and kids, but to everyone who wants to know how this guy simply vanished. thanks y’all

This is to ben g out of Texas:

I live in Mississippi. And you’re right. Most people don’t just leave, and not leave any trace behind them unless it was intentional. Nicholas hadn’t been spotted, nor heard from since he day he disappeared. Why he chose that particular day to disappear beats me. However, you are right again in saying that the only evidence missing is his laptop. And by me having a latop(I’m typing on it right now!), besides my daughter, this laptop goes EVERYWHERE with me! Especially if I’m going on a trip, or even to a friend’s house to spend the night, my daughter and my laptop are my 2 most prized possessions! I had an ex that I was in a relationship with one time and he joked with me one day telling me, “Lisa, if our house ever gets burglarized, the 2 things that you would make sure are still there is your cell phone and your laptop(my daughter would be with me anyway!) So in saying all of that, I say this: I hope Nicholas is OK. I read somewhere that his wife, Christina, has sought for a divorce. Um, to me, a “grieving” wife that has no idea where her loving husband, the man that she has a child(ren) by already, with another on the way, will in no way ask for a divorce. I mean, I understand he’s missing, but wow!! She’s moving on pretty quick, isn’t she? That rubs me the wrong way with what she wants to do. It hadn’t even been a year yet, and she’s already ready to leave her husband? It’s like she KNOWS what could have possibly happened to Nicholas. Its funny that she’s not known as a “person of interest”, or something. Is it because she’s pregnant, or what? Wow…that’s amazing to me. Did police not find any evidence in his car? All I know is this: I’ve read stories where people have come up missing, but their laptop is still there..but how could his laptop be “fixed” where it not traceable? As advanced as techno is these days, just like Nicholas somehow could fix his laptop “untraceable”, there is bound to be someone out there that can still “trace” his steps, IP address, something…

I don’t know much but I try to keep an open mind when I do not have all the facts.
Could the divorce be to protect the family?
I wish you the best Christine, and your children as well.

  • How About The Truth???

Here’s the facts as I believe them folks:

    1) Christine was a stay at home mom with two small children and a baby on the way.

    2) Nicholas loved his family, but had a secret life that wasn’t ALL that secret because his other ‘relationships’, whether they be sexual or drug related, were easy to find on the internet.

    3) He called to say he was coming home, but he never showed and his car was found in the town where one of the ‘online friends’ he had connection with lived.

    4) Two of his online ‘friends’ are gay. One of his ‘friends’ online is a raging homosexual. An older man.

    5) Christine was in the dark. She may have sensed that something was wrong, but wasn’t sure what it was. When he did not come home she reached out desperately to anyone who would listen. At that point and time, she did not want to suspect that he would willfully walk away.

    6) The ‘weirdness’ everyone heard in her voice and actions is because she herself was not sure if he would actually walk away. When she was interviewed and talked to the camera, she was talking to Nicholas, not the public. She was saying the things that she thought he needed to hear to come home again. JUST IN CASE he was still alive and had taken off. But part of her was also reaching out for help in case something HAD happened to him.

    7) The ‘detective’ in charge of this case is a moron. Plain and simple. He went on public record that he was “the ONLY detective working on this case” when in actuality, there was another detective doing the actual work.

    8) Nicholas’ family was less than worried or concerned. All his mother kept saying were things like “God will take care of this.” It is my opinion that his family knew from the very beginning that he was part of a shameful life and that he took off. Any NORMAL mother would have been on camera pleading for help, but she didn’t. Neither did his siblings. They went through the motions, maybe to protect Christine and babies from having to know a horrible truth. But, they were not a family in grave concern for the recovery of their son and brother.

    9) When Christine FINALLY became aware of Nicholas’ sad and cowardly second life, she filed for divorce. And I say GOOD FOR HER!

    10) Many wonderful, caring people came forward to help Christine and the babies, and I applaud them! It is not Christine’s, nor the children’s, or the unborn baby’s fault that Nicholas was a coward and a liar. I believer their lives will be better without him.

    11) And finally, to Nicholas. I have no way of knowing 100% whether you are alive or deceased, but my gut tells me that you are alive and are immersed in a dark and sinful life. My heart aches for you and for your choices. I can only pray that God forgives you for what you have done and I pray that your eyes are opened to see the truth. May you do the right thing and make things right in your world.

  • Washington State Resident

    Hi all,

Okay, I live in Washington State. We have a “community property” state so if I were married to someone that were missing and then found out about the “dark double life” - I too would file for divorce immediately. To save my children and myself from any possible further financial ruin.
I have followed this case for a while and it sickens me - for the children. And it appears to be just plain weird. As far as abuse being possible in the home (besides the abuse of being lied to and possibly at risk for STDs), I was in an abusive marriage. I bragged about how great he was. Why? It’s all part of the cycle. You want to believe it, you want him to believe it and maybe start acting the part, you never want others to know how “stupid and weak” you are and quite honestly, the gradual breakdown of yourself is completely insane. Then when you get out - for those that do - you look back and it is mind boggling that you were ever there. So after “building” up my ex, I barely got out alive and immediately filed for an order of protection (of course that didn’t work.) But that may provide some insight to why christine may have claimed some sort of abuse was happening.
I hope everything in this case clears up as soon as possible. Those children are victims for sure. Nicolas may or may not have been a victim (odd the parents weren’t all over the internet/media that I have seen unless they are too shamed by his other life?) Very bizarre.

Thank you. This validates much of what I found about the case and adds new information. I just can't for the life of me figure out why there is a small cadre of people who continually post hateful things about Christine as if it is their life or as if every little thing she has done is suspect! I'd leave or divorce someone in a heartbeat who was leading this kind of secret life. There is nothing good to be had about someone who lies to you about MAJOR issues. This strikes right to the heart of a person.

How about the Truth, thanks for the synopsis of events, and especially for point #11 above. After the news came out today that Nicholas has been found in another state using a different name, it is clear that he is running hard from God. I pray, too, that Jesus would get ahold of him and bring him to repentance. The path he is on only leads to heartach and death.
