Evidently the pressure from the recent Google hack in China has pushed Microsoft to patch the much hated IE 6 and newer versions of Internet Explorer.
It follows the French and German governments decision to inform citizens to use other browsers such as firefox
Classic, yet the security hole filled, non-standard compliant browser still has double digit market share due to the fact that many larger companies refuse to upgrade, mostly due to laziness of their internal IT department.
There is no reason that anyone should be using that browser.. it’s a security threat to their networks. We developers have always hated that browser because it never renders webpages properly.
Go away IE 6, Microsoft should patch IE 6 with a full replacement of the browser. Not a hack to fix this single (out of many) security flaws.
I found most users used firefox than internet explorer because it is faster. And now because of the problem of internet explorer most users used internet explorer will go firefox and other browser. Microsoft must fix this problem ASAP. Sikat ang Pinoy
