Employee charges 40 grand on ad agency credit card

February 4, 2009

Betty Ann Trisdale was arrested on suspicion of embezzling nearly $40,000 from Advertising Agency Rita Sanders according to police. Trisdale allegedly opened a credit card account in the name of her employer, made charges on the card, and then accessed the businesses online accounts to pay the bills.

Hot stuff going on in the terms of quality being hired at the typical advertising agency.

The good news is that this women was caught, only after stealing roughly a year long take home salary (40,000 take home is roughly 65,000 if you consider taxes, insurance ,etc etc)

It’s unknown if the agency will be responsible for the charges (at least in the short term until the soon to be pending lawsuit forces repayment).

Is that Duck on Payroll?
