It appears that we are all in the wrong business, as this company has launched 400 dollar flip flops made of crocodile.
According to the company site:
we provide an economic incentive to save crocodiles. PecheBluTM donates 5% of each pair sold to groups working to prevent primates, our closest animal relatives, from becoming extinct. We are the first company to use eco-economics to protect one endangered species by sales of another to help both.
