These are the new ‘adopt Sci-Fi’ commercials. Honestly you have to see it… actually upsetting….
IN short an alien is dropped off at an orphanage and treated like garbage from the other kids… it sounds almost comical until you actually watch the video.

I was just sitting at home watching the SciFi channel, and this really horrible commercial came on about an alien who is dropped off at an orphanage and treated badly and bullied by the other kids, etc. It sounds silly when you describe it, but it was really horrible! It wasn’t funny at all. It didn’t make me want to watch the scifi channel! It actually upset me and made me sad thinking about real children and animals that are left homeless and abused and alone in the world. I quickly changed the channel to put something light and funny on to cheer myself up. I don’t know who the hell thought this was a good marketing idea. It’s depressing, it’s sad, and it definitely doesn’t make me want to watch the scifi channel. sorry guys, REALLY bad marketing!
